Change Kids’ Health by enjoying pancakes with a purpose!

IHOP is continuing to bring purpose to their pancakes by raising money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to ensure children’s hospitals are best positioned to meet the urgent needs facing kids today. For Rayaan, the 2021 Kid Chef, that meant learning how to walk, talk, eat and swallow again after being on life support. Pancakes were a big part to his recovery and continue to bring joy to kids everywhere.

Are you ready to enjoy some pancakes with purpose?

Today, March 1, 2022 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals icon balloons can be purchased in IHOP locations in Lynchburg and Danville, VA locations. Guests can also leave a cash contribution, add a donation to their bill, or donate while ordering online through IHOP National Pancake Day on March 1.

All the money raised by IHOP for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services. When we positively change the health of even one child, we create a ripple effect felt by our communities for years to come.

Thanks to you and IHOP in Lynchburg and Danville, Virginia for helping change kids’ health and change the future at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital and Centra Virginia Baptist Hospitals.

Centra is proud to have two hospitals within the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, an alliance of premier children’s hospitals throughout the United States and Canada.  Centra Lynchburg General Hospital houses a state-of-the-art, child-friendly, eleven-bed Pediatric Center and a specialized Pediatric Pod in the Emergency Department.

Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital has a Level III Neonatal Nursery, making it a referral center for the region. It also features the newly expanded Pediatric Specialty Center that houses six pediatric service lines: allergy, endocrinology, genetics, lactation, neurodevelopmental and pulmonary.

Your gifts toward pediatric care help ensure that local children have the specialized care they need and deserve.

Centra is a not-for-profit community health system and relies on fundraising. The mission of the Centra Foundation is to develop and direct resources for the support of Centra. Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care; it is only through donor support that we can provide quality care locally, regardless of our patients’ ability to pay.
