IHOP Pancakes Change Kids’ Health September 13-October 31

IHOP joined with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to find this year’s Kid Chef through a contest that invited pediatric patients ages 6-16 from any Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to unleash their culinary creativity to concoct a new pancake recipe. Not only are they creating a delicious treat, but these pancakes will create ripple effects for years to come at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

IHOP is thrilled to crown Rayaan as this year’s Kid Chef. Thanks to Rayaan’s local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and the unexpected tool of soft, fluffy, syrup-filled pancakes, Rayaan was able to relearn how to chew, eat and swallow. Therefore, pancakes were a big reason for his recovery and Rayaan is a great fit to be selected as this year’s Kid Chef!

Kid Chef Rayaan created the delicious Caramel Apple a la Mode pancake stack. These two fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples, drizzled with caramel sauce and crowned with one scoop of premium vanilla ice cream definitely has everyone talking.

Don’t miss out! Visit IHOP between September 13-October 31 and enjoy Rayaan’s creation and $1 from every Caramel Apple a la Mode pancake full stack or combo ordered benefits UPMC Children’s Hospital to help change kids’ health and the future.

Through these donations, our hospital can provide critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, and child life services that put kids and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays.

IHOP has been committed to serve its communities in fun, engaging ways and to bring joy and smiles to guests of all ages. They also invite you to come enjoy Rayaan’s masterpiece

Thanks to you and IHOP in the Pittsburgh area for helping change kids’ health and change the future at UPMC Children’s.
