IHOP’s Caramel Apple a la Mode Pancakes – Available Now Through October 31

This fall, the pancake pros at IHOP continue to make a difference for the children treated at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children by having a brand new, limited-time only pancake stack, Caramel Apple a la Mode. Not only is this new pancake delicious, but $1 from every stack or combo sold in restaurants in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Volusia and Flagler counties will support our hospitals’ areas of greatest need.

The Sweet Story

In 2019, IHOP partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to find this year’s Kid Chef through a contest that invited pediatric patients ages 6-16 from to unleash their culinary creativity to concoct a new pancake recipe. These two fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples, drizzled with caramel sauce and crowned with one scoop of premium vanilla ice cream recipe was created by this year’s Kid Chef winner, Rayaan.

Thanks to Rayaan’s local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and the unexpected tool of soft, fluffy, syrup-filled pancakes, Rayaan was able to relearn how to chew, eat and swallow. Therefore, pancakes were a big reason for his recovery and inspiration when making the pancake recipe, Caramel Apple a la Mode.

Thank you IHOP for your continued support to our hospital and the children who dream of becoming the next generation of chefs!
